There were turbulent times when the heavy burden of making a living and severe supply chain disruptions seemingly broke the spirit of our farmers. In early 2023, our multifunctional processing complex faced a devastating standstill. Yet, from the depths of adversity, the immense power of our collective economy rose fiercely. That miraculous resurrection was deeply rewarded when our 14-billion VND factory officially received the HACCP Codex (TCVN 5603:2008) certification (Certificate No.: 30/CN-TĐC-HT-83-0001). Valid until November 27, 2026, this is not just a passport; it is an iron-clad proof of our absolute risk management capabilities and the burning desire to eliminate middlemen, bringing Vietnamese agricultural products directly to the world.
The HACCP system is far beyond dry, bureaucratic rules; it is the very heartbeat of our transoceanic cold chain logistics. Because the green skin pomelo is a non-climacteric fruit, when nurtured in our strict 10°C - 12°C cold storage, it carries the sweet, authentic soul of the homeland across the globe. Even after floating on the high seas for 90 to 100 exhausting days to reach Canada, the US, Australia, or Europe, every single pomelo segment remarkably retains its original crispness and juiciness, as if freshly picked from the branch.

Furthermore, this HACCP certification is a magical gateway to a circular economy era. From fresh pomelos, lemons, red/white dragon fruits, and orange-mangoes, the Cooperative has elevated its brand value by launching IQF frozen pomelo segments and deep-processed "Mekong Flavor" (Hương Mekong) juices. Holding both GlobalGAP and HACCP certifications simultaneously, the Ben Tre Green Pomelo Cooperative has shattered all Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) technical barriers, flawlessly meeting the most stringent protocols from APHIS (USA) to GACC (China), and proudly affirming the unparalleled export capacity of Vietnamese agriculture.
