Bến Tre Green Pomelo Cooperative Welcomes Marketing Expert from PUM (Netherlands) to Boost Trade Promotion Strategy

Bến Tre, July 27, 2026 – Driven by the vision to reach global markets and affirm the position of Vietnamese agricultural products, the Board of Directors of the Bến Tre Green Pomelo Cooperative hosted a direct working session with Mr. Jan de Bruijn, a senior Marketing Expert from the PUM organization (Netherlands), at the cooperative's facility.

Mr. Jan de Bruijn's visit to the facility is part of a 5-day strategic consultancy program. During this engaging and inspiring meeting, the Cooperative's leadership (Mr. Bảo, Ms. Nga) and the PUM expert collaboratively outlined a 5-year strategic vision (2026 – 2031) for the green-skinned pomelo.

The Management Board of Ben Tre Green Pomelo Cooperative (Mr. Bao, Ms. Nga) and expert Jan de Bruijn from PUM (Netherlands) engage in an in-depth discussion on B2B export and marketing strategies.

Rather than dwelling on seasonal operational challenges, the session opened up highly promising new directions. Both sides aligned on strategies to elevate the "Pink Pomelo Girl" brand identity while exploring product diversification—such as fermented pomelo juice, frozen pomelo segments, and essential oils—to optimize the value chain. Notably, Mr. Jan de Bruijn highly appreciated the cooperative's potential and shared sharp B2B marketing roadmaps to help Bến Tre pomelos penetrate international export markets in the most robust and secure manner.

Mr. Jan de Bruijn personally tastes and evaluates the quality of the fermented pomelo juice researched and developed by the cooperative.

The companionship of Mr. Jan de Bruijn and the PUM organization provides not only practical marketing strategies but also serves as a testament to the Bến Tre Green Pomelo Cooperative's relentless efforts to maintain premium quality, expand market reach, and secure stable, prosperous livelihoods for hundreds of local farming households.
